Joey Mob Holiday

Mob Holiday A1 

Aussie Bush Mob Holiday – all Joeys must have a parent or responsible adult in attendance for the camp
Cost is $55 for Joeys, Parents, and Leaders This includes all meals.
Please make all cheques payable to 1st Winston Hills Scout Group
Parents will be required to assist with meal preparation, cleaning up, and at activities.

All participants need to fill in an activity form. Parents will also need to fill in a PED form (prohibited employment declaration)

Please see attached packing list. Label everything! Joeys and Leaders need to wear uniform to and from camp.

Arrive 10am for set up and morning tea. Opening Parade 11am. If you plan to arrive later please advise your Joey Leader. If you need to
leave before the end of the camp you must advise your Joey Leader.

Everyone must wear closed in shoes while on camp, including during swimming activities. No crocs, sandals or thongs. No singlet tops.

Joeys and Parents will be sleeping in Bunk Bed accommodation. Separate boy / girl rooms. Camping is also an option.
Parents are responsible for showering and toileting their own Joey.
All medication must be handed to your Leader on arrival in a sealed bag with the Joey’s name on it. Medication will be stored in a safe location, and distributed to a parent to administer to the Joey when required.

Camp activities will include craft, games, campfire, bush walk, swimming, and lots of FUN and FOOD! Saturday night dinner will have an Aussie Bush theme. Parents, Leaders and Joeys are invited to dress up.

Directions
Take the F3 out of Sydney.
Take the first Gosford exit
Turn Right onto Woy Woy Rd, at the Shell service station.
3.2 kms to Camp Kariong sign on the Right hand side
Take the road on the right and drive up dirt road until you reach car park.

As the access road crosses a creek Parents are asked to park in the car park and use available trolleys to bring belongings to the camp buildings, a short distance along a track.
